My name is Kanatbek.

Hello friends! My name is Kanatbek. I’m from Kyrgyzstan, a tiny country in Central Asia, surrounded by other “stan” countries. In the past we were the part of the Soviet Union, so I grew up speaking multiple languages. Since my childhood I’ve been always curious about the world diversity.  My curiosity ultimately led me to graduate from university in my home country with a Master’s degree in International Relations. However, with a lack of possibilities for professional growth in Kyrgyzstan, I urged myself to find a new path for my life. The helping hand came from New America College. They were a thousand miles away from me in another part of the world, yet it felt that these people really wanted to help me. I began a new era in the USA, a world of great possibilities and hopes that one could accomplish. NAC is ultimately where my new journey began.

NAC’s Helping Hand.

NAC has the biggest variety of options and choices in regard to English learning programs, which are not only about grammar and vocabulary. There are different course levels to accommodate the needs of all students, no matter their background. To start learning English from a blank page, there are the language experts who will guide and help you to be on the right track. To hit that TOEFL score and apply for your dream job, there are multiple ways to achieve your target. And if you need help establishing your business English and learning communications skills to get into American corporate culture, NAC has masters in these professional fields who will support you in your pursuit.

It’s a family.

The most amazing part of NAC is not about studying and classes, and it’s not about your student status. It’s about a family relationship, where every student feels safe and knows that they belong. NAC is a big family that will help you achieve your goals and never close the door on you. Thanks to NAC, I got accepted for a Master’s Degree program and I’m sure that it wouldn’t have happened without  NAC and their amazing staff. Their support encouraged and helped me to start a new page in my life’s endeavor. I am reaching toward a new horizon, for a better future.
