Why Donate?

We believe learning English is a key factor in economic mobility. However, full-time English Language programs, even at universities, are not eligible for federal student loans. This makes it difficult for immigrants and refugees who often need to work to make money quickly, making English language learning something that is put off for more immediate concerns. New America College does not receive government funding and our Scholarship fund helps more students attend our classes. Our administrative staff helps students with virtually anything. As an example: we provide students information on universities, how to obtain an equivalency for jobs and mental health resources. Those who make monetary donations to NAC help support our scholarship efforts.

For those who support NAC’s mission but find themselves with more money than time, a financial donation is an excellent way to help us help our students. For example, a $400 donation equates to 72 hours of classes for a refugee.

NAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
