Cultural Values at New America College

At New America College (NAC), our cultural values form the basis of our community. As a student you become part of that community. Yes, we are an English school, but NAC is more than “just” a school. We believe in helping students with the important aspects of their life outside of the classroom. While we routinely help students apply for college with our partner institutions, our support does not end there. We also help students make doctor’s appointments, rent apartments, buy plane tickets, find childcare, and just figure out where to have fun on a weekend. Students are treated as whole people. NAC does not just assist your learning English, we support you on your journey to self-sufficiency and success.

Cultural Values

Community:

As a team, NAC works to build a community of learners. We support one other not only in the classroom, but outside the classroom, as well.

Education:

Teaching English is our passion at NAC. We believe that education is the key to unlocking your goals, no matter what they are.

Success:

NAC provides English classes to equip students for success in their education, jobs, and community life. We believe that everybody’s vision of success is different, and we are here to support you on your path to your version of success.

Acceptance:

NAC is committed to inclusivity and acceptance of all people. As a community of learners, we actively strive to learn about other cultures and embrace diversity in all forms. We are stronger because of our differences.

When you enroll at NAC, you are getting more than an education. Here are two quotes from alumni: “NAC and its teachers were my second family while I was a student there.”  “NAC played a very important role in my life. It helped me to boost up my confidence and achieve very positive results in my future career.”

When you donate to NAC, you are supporting our values and our mission: to provide essential English language skills in a low stress, intensive academic environment so students can accomplish their goals and succeed in their communities.
